Manto LO, graduated from the Bachelor of Visual Arts program at Hong Kong Baptist University in 2022. During this period, she visited the Mogao Cave in Dunhuang, China. The pigments used in the murals in the caves inspired Manto's creation. After graduation, she focused on the creation of mineral painting. She went to Yunnan and Beijing to learn mineral painting, and also went to Japan for inspection and exchange.

She draws inspiration from flora and fauna, wild blossoms and mountain landscapes, infusing my creations with personal contemplation and poetic imagination. With enduring, unfading mineral pigments, she portrays the fleeting mundane moments that often slip unnoticed from sight.

As a quiet observer and chronicler of life, she witnessed the flow of time and the transitions of the world, capturing the subtle sentiments and spiritual states of humanity shaped by changing days. She also devoted myself to exploring the unique texture, tactile charm and profound layered expression of rock mineral pigments in artistic creation.
